A wall of Closewell concept proposals

Questions,
answered.

Everything buyers and teams ask us about proposal design, from pricing and turnaround to RFP responses and confidentiality. Every answer is on this page.

The basics

What does Closewell Studio do?

We design sales proposals for teams chasing big contracts. Every project ships as a live web proposal with interactive pricing, a timeline and a chapter for each person who signs off, plus a matching PDF for procurement.

What is an interactive sales proposal?

A proposal built as a live web page instead of a static document. The buyer reads it on any device, switches between pricing options, sees the timeline and accepts it in the browser. Every Closewell project also ships as a matching PDF.

Who is Closewell Studio for?

Teams chasing a deal big enough that the proposal has to do the selling without them in the room. That includes sales teams on enterprise deals, software companies selling rollouts, agencies pitching year-long retainers, contractors bidding on builds and anyone answering a formal RFP.

How is this different from proposal software?

Proposal software helps you send, track and sign proposals at volume. We design and write the proposal itself, custom for one deal, so it reads like nothing else in the buyer's inbox. Plenty of teams use both.

Are the proposals on your site real client work?

No. Every proposal on the site is concept work for a fictional company, built the way we would build yours. We never show client names, deal details or pricing in our own work.

Services

What kinds of proposals do you design?

Done-for-you sales proposals, RFP and tender responses, SaaS proposals, agency pitch proposals and construction bid proposals. Each one is written, designed and built for a single deal.

Do you design RFP responses?

Yes. We design and write RFP and tender responses with every required section in the order the buyer asked for, delivered as a live response and a compliant PDF. Each one includes a compliance matrix.

What happens when the buyer sends questions after we submit an RFP?

We update the live response and the PDF together, so both stay in step with the clarifications.

What goes into a SaaS proposal?

A rollout plan, pricing tiers the buyer can switch between, add-ons, the cost per seat beside every total and a security and IT chapter, plus a matching PDF.

What goes into an agency pitch proposal?

A twelve-month plan, monthly pricing, the team and process, and case studies, built around what the client gets each month of the retainer.

What goes into a construction bid proposal?

The phasing plan, site schedule, risk and logistics and a pricing breakdown, set out the way a facilities team reviews them, plus a compliant PDF.

Pricing and paying

How much does proposal design cost?

Handshake proposals start at $5K, Signature at $7.5K and Board at $10K. Add-ons are scoped into one exact price after the brief.

What is the difference between Handshake, Signature and Board?

Handshake is for one buyer and one decision. Signature adds a chapter for each person who signs off and a rollout or delivery timeline. Board is built for a formal review, scored line by line, with a compliance matrix, a compliant PDF for the portal and a live response for the decision makers.

What changes the price?

What we build. A Handshake for one buyer is a smaller job than a Signature with a chapter for every signer, and both are smaller than a Board built for a formal review. Add-ons like an ROI calculator or custom diagrams get scoped into the same quote.

What add-ons are available?

An ROI or savings calculator, extra signer chapters, custom diagrams and maps, and a printed leave-behind sent to the buying committee before a finalist meeting.

Do we get a range or an exact price?

One exact number after the brief. Nothing starts until you've agreed to it.

When do we pay?

50 percent upfront to hold your dates and 50 percent on delivery.

Can we add something after the quote?

Yes. Add-ons like an ROI calculator or extra signer chapters get scoped into the same quote, so you still get one exact number before anything starts.

Process and timing

How long does a proposal take?

Most builds take 5 business days from the brief. If your deadline is closer, 48-hour rush delivery is 50 percent on top of the build price.

How does a project run?

You send the brief. We agree the structure around who reads it and who signs off. We design two directions in your brand, you pick one, and we write and build it as a live page. Then you send the live link with a matching PDF.

Do we see more than one design?

Yes. Once the structure is agreed, we design two directions in your brand and show you both. You pick one, or keep parts of each, and we build the full proposal from there.

How do review rounds work?

Your team leaves notes on the live proposal in the browser, and we resolve them in rounds until it's ready to send.

What do you need from us to start?

The RFP or your deal notes. Who's buying, what the deal is worth and when it's due is enough to start.

Formats and delivery

What do we get at the end?

A live web proposal and a PDF that matches it page for page, so procurement has the file they need.

Does the buyer need anything to open it?

No. It's a web page, so it opens in any browser on any device, and the PDF covers anyone who'd rather print.

Can the proposal match our brand?

Yes. Every proposal is built in your colors, type and voice, so it reads as your best work. Our name stays off it unless you want it there.

How long does the live proposal stay up?

12 months. After that we archive it or move it to your site.

What happens after we send it?

If the buyer comes back with questions, we make one round of updates within 30 days of sending.

Confidentiality and getting started

Is our deal kept confidential?

Yes. We'll sign your NDA before the brief, and we never show client names, deal details or pricing in our own work. Your RFP and notes are used only to build your proposal, never for our examples or to train AI, and we delete them whenever you ask.

How do we get started?

Send the brief through the contact page, send us your RFP, or email hello@closewellstudio.com. We read it and come back with a plan and one exact price.

Still have
a question?

Send the deal or the RFP. We read it and come back with a plan and one exact price.
